Responsive app or website?

Post by Tingli »

While both offer a solution for mobile users, each is better for different activities . For example, people will prefer Facebook's mobile app over the responsive version that the social network offers for mobile devices. But if you want to search for a specific website, you'll likely turn to the browser instead of the app store.

Apps offer a better user experience, from their design and ability to take advantage of other tools on a mobile device, to their ability to send notifications and constantly update . The other side is the cost of development and the need to go through an approval filter before being made available in app stores.

On the other hand, there are responsive sites, which need only one code to c level or decision maker email list adapt to a large number of devices. This makes them cheap and easy to set up. But among the most notable drawbacks we can note their dependence on an internet connection (something that does not happen with all applications) and the lack or limited capacity to interact with other features of the Tablet or Smartphone.
