Kaspersky and Symantec removed from China's shopping list

Announced on Twitter by the Chinese state-run newspaper People Daily China, the companies Kaspersky and Symantec have been removed from the list of software suppliers to the Chinese government.

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, the Chinese have morocco whatsapp list that from now on they will only purchase software that is developed in China itself, although both Kaspersky and Symantec claim not to have received any notification from the Chinese government and that they learned of the decision through the press.

With this suspension, none of the ten million employees who work for the Chinese government will be able to purchase any product from either company.

This is not the first action against technology companies outside of China, Apple and Microsoft have also been reported in investigations by the Chinese government.
