What are the stages of the UFMG master's degree?
Reading the notice should be a priority for those who want to prepare for a master's degree at UFMG. After all, different areas have different stages and requirements that are not similar. However, the selection process is usually divided into the following categories, which we present below.
Initially, the institution will analyze the c level executive list study plans submitted by the candidate. This stage is exclusively for preliminary purposes, and will consider the proposal for the Program's area of concentration — that is, how it aligns with the specialty you wish to pursue and have chosen within the university —, the technical and conceptual coherence and consistency, and assess whether it is possible to execute the entire project within the time allotted for the master's degree.
These evaluations have different scores. Only those who achieve 70 points or more are classified.
Oral argument based on the UFMG master's degree study plan
If you have been approved with your study plan , it is time to present it. At this stage, the University will analyze your ability to defend the project and the consistency of the academic path proposed in the Study Plan.
It is important that you prepare yourself for this moment. No matter how good your idea is, if you are unable to defend it before UFMG, the selection process will certainly not continue.
In this sense, understand all the topics you want to work on, always associate them with the chosen Program and bring to this moment what impact the study will have on society.
