5. Prepare people
Making sure that as many people as possible look good in the photo has to do with good preparation. Inform people well before the photoshoot and give them tips on how to prepare well. For example, email everyone two weeks before the shoot, and again three days before. That way, people have time to go to the hairdresser or buy some new clothes.

Does your company building have to be in the photo? Then make sure that the windows are clean and the flag in front of the building is hanging nicely. How long do you want to use the photos in your expressions? Is there a re-branding coming up within your company? Then make sure that your company logo does not appear in the photo. Are you moving soon? Then plan the shoot at the new location. You can also decide whether or not you want things in the photo. A mobile phone that is three years old now will really no longer be up-to-date in three years. So it is better not to put that in the photo if you want those photos to last longer.
Which preparations you do and do not want to do is ultimately up to you. But in general: the more is left to chance, the more uncertainties there are. These uncertainties can result in a shoot that takes much longer than necessary (and therefore higher costs).
