HOW DO WE ARRIVE AT THE FIFTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION?
To understand how society reached the Fifth Industrial Revolution, let's see a brief historical summary below:

1 – Industry 1.0
In 1760, England launched the Industrial Revolution by creating mechanized textile factories and designing the steam engine. This revolution made it possible to produce more in less time and with less physical effort. England thus moved from an agricultural economy to an industrialized economy. This generated new ways of working and new means of transportation. In addition, it generated the discovery of new sources of energy, which began to change society as a whole in the following years.

2 – Industry 2.0
It began around the 1880s, coinciding with the beginning of large-scale electrification. Later, it was improved with the invention of Scientific Management by Frederick Taylor (1856-1915). Oil appeared as an energy source. Based on these and other developments at the time, Henry Ford launched the assembly line to manufacture automobiles. This type of industrialization generated the urbanization of cities, and active phone number list in addition to increasing the production of goods.

3 – Industry 3.0
It appeared in 1970 with the application of electronics and digitalization in factories. It was at this time that the first experiments with automation and computer science in industrial production took place. Automation, in turn, began to replace human labor, robotics began to replace some repetitive jobs, computerization appeared as a tool for monitoring processes, electronics increased the precision of instruments, globalization integrated factories from different countries and different sectors. In any case, a lot of technology, but no environmental concerns for now.

4 – Industry 4.0
In 2010, the digitalization of factories was strengthened with the Internet and information and communication technologies (ICT), thus opening the era of data in the industry. Databases help business owners to identify patterns and make decisions. Communication and integration of factories are developing, robotics is progressing. In addition, the integration of machines and devices with the Internet begins and augmented reality (AR) begins to serve as a training tool for workers and to generate immersive experiences in the field of maintenance.

5 – Industry 5.0
Still without a timetable, but about to happen (or already underway), the fifth industrial revolution is the fusion of AI with human intelligence and, in addition, with advanced robotics. It brings values such as collaboration between humans and robots, concern for environmental issues, the production of goods according to the needs and preferences of each consumer and the prioritization of human well-being.
