On December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated . As every year, the Adecco Foundation launches its campaign to tackle all those barriers that hinder the full social and labour inclusion of people with disabilities . Under the title #Reacciona and the motto A person with a disability is much more than their disability , this year's malaysia mobile phone number data campaign reflects through 4 spots some of the most important social problems that a person with a disability faces at different times in their life development: overprotection during childhood, bullying during adolescence, discrimination and mobbing during adulthood and work.
1. Overprotection: Patri is a girl with cerebral palsy and reduced mobility who sees her personal development and professional future limited. Her closest environment prevents her from carrying out the simplest actions of daily life in order to protect her, without being aware that this attitude becomes a limitation that prevents her from growing and developing as a normal person.
2. Bullying and discrimination: Alejandro is a teenager with an intellectual disability who faces his first day of school at high school. His classmates look at him and laugh at him, transforming his skills and positive attitudes into insults and humiliation. Today, thousands of children with disabilities like Alejandro suffer from bullying at school. A situation that leads them to depression and situations of social exclusion.
3. Discrimination: Manuel is an aircraft assembler with a physical disability. The #Reacciona campaign spot reflects his first day at work, marked by the suspicion of his colleagues who only see him as a disabled person. Prejudices target disabled workers in the workplace on a daily basis.
4. Discrimination: Following the line of the previous video and in an office environment, we find Javier, a person with a qualified profile and also with a physical disability. Once again, his professional skills are put aside when his colleagues perceive his disability.
