Dialing Formats

Local Calls: Within the same area code, you typically dial just the seven-digit number (XXX-XXXX).
Long-Distance Calls: For calls outside your area code, you dial 1 follow by the area code and the seven-digit number (1-XXX-XXX-XXXX).
International Calls: To call a US number from another country, you dial the US country code (+1) follow by the ten-digit number (+1-XXX-XXX-XXXX).
