According to our study:
The types of content that get the most engagement don't match the types of content most frequently published by tech companies
Content type has a greater impact on engagement than date or time of publication
The most popular time and day to post is midweek (Tuesday through Thursday) between 9am and 3pm
When analyzed together, the day and time of publication do not have a significant impact on engagement.
For this study, we focused on content from brand official accounts throughout 2022. As such, more recent seismic shifts, like the introduction of Threads, were not included in the data set. And because we focused specifically on tech brands, our findings may not be representative of other industries.
