Cases of deception of buyers who bought goods on the Internet have become common. This is a common type of fraud, from which you can protect yourself even after the theft has been committed.

The offered product does not correspond to the description
Remember the photo from the Internet on the topic of "Expectation and Reality". Of course, many have seen something similar. Indeed, no matter how hard you try, a photo is a photo, and it is quite difficult to determine from it whether the thing in front of you is of high quality.

There are so many examples of people belgium business email listordering a beautiful dress or jeans from a photo, but in the end they receive something horrible and shapeless, which in no way corresponds to either the description or the expectations.

How to get your money back if you were scammed in an online store:

Do not confirm receipt of the goods, that is, do not sign in the appropriate column until you unfold and inspect the item.

Take a photo of the damage.

Contact the seller and inform him that you are refusing the product and demanding a refund.

The seller does not respond in any way? Then you send him a registered letter with a pre-trial claim, attaching copies of the documents on the purchase of the goods and the transfer of money (this is the procedure in case the proceedings reach the court).

Afterwards, you can file a claim in court (if you still haven't received your money back). This is where Article 131 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, the Law "On the Protection of Consumer Rights" and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation come into force, in accordance with which the claim is filed. For example, if the product you purchased turned out to be of poor quality, you have the right to cancel the transaction and demand back not only the cost of the product, but also compensation for the losses incurred due to the poor quality of the product. A receipt (for sending the claim), an act (listing the defects), as well as screenshots showing the order details and information about the seller are attached to the claim.

It also happens that you were deceived in an online store, but you do not know how to return the money, because you accepted the goods and only later discovered defects in them. Then act as follows:

First, check whether the product's expiration date has expired (if it is not specified, then no more than two years must have passed since you received the purchase). Your task is to prove that the product was already bad before you received it, or the defects appeared due to reasons that arose earlier (again, before receiving it).

Demand a refund from the seller.

If you do not receive your money back, file a claim (sent by registered mail) in which you list the product's defects, when and under what circumstances you noticed them, indicate how you paid for the purchase, and demand termination of the contract and a refund.

The law requires the seller to accept back a defective product within ten days and refund the buyer's money. Keep in mind that if the product was used (in whole or in part) before the return, has lost its marketable appearance and therefore has become less valuable, you are still required to return the amount you originally paid for it.

Where to go if you were deceived in an online store and did not get your money back even after filing a claim? The next step is to file a lawsuit.
