Google to launch mobile operator in US

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress held in the Spanish city of Barcelona, Google Vice President Sundar Pichai confirmed that the company will launch its own mobile operator in the United States within a few months.
The spokesperson for the technology giant said that the company has already joined forces with partners , yet to be revealed, to create its own Mobile Virtual Network Operator, known by the acronym MVNO (original in English, Mobile Virtual Network Operator ), which will not have its own network infrastructure, and will rent it from other companies to offer its packages.
The proposal is to avoid competing with the large American portugal whatsapp list that are already operating, and thus enter this new market with a small-scale service and offer the concept of the Nexus smartphone line developed in partnership with a manufacturer.
Pichai comments that Google's strategy is to think about hardware, software and connectivity together, and to integrate mobile internet and Wi-Fi, in addition to exploring the possibility of using the internet connection to maintain a voice call when the call drops.
So far, it has not been announced in which regions the new Google operator will operate, nor the prices of the services .
