First of all, we will show how widespread AdBlock – as a specific ad blocker – is. In the picture below, we can see that it is already used by more than 65 million users worldwide and exists in approximately 40 language versions , with over 120 translators involved in its development . In this case, of course, we are talking about a specific add-on called AdBlock. If we were to look at the issue in general and take into account all ad blocking add-ons, we would come to the conclusion that about a third of Internet users use them . For example, in the USA it is now 1 in 4.

Last year, research company GlobalWebIndex conducted list of gibraltar consumer email a global study on the behavior of Internet users in terms of the use of ad blocking add-ons. The results included the following findings:
42% of supplement users are women, 58% are men.
They are most often used by the following age groups:
25-34 years old (32%)
16-24 years old (31%)
The smallest share is in the 55-64 age category with a usage rate of 6% .
Ad blockers are most widespread in the Asia-Pacific region (around 50%).
