HubSpot's Ways to Communicate with Partners
HubSpot has several ways to stay in touch with partners privately or collectively. Let's look at the top five first:
Email . This is the primary communication channel. HubSpot sends two types rich people database of emails to partners . One is part of the monthly newsletter and includes summaries of the latest news, such as the launch of a new product, the announcement of an event, or the publication of resources. On the other hand, they also send specific emails that are not part of the newsletter about specific and special events.
Partner News Blog - On this page, HubSpot shares the promotions in the program's tier structure in celebration. They also publish posts with helpful resources to learn more about the new products, as well as tips and other materials aimed at improving the partner experience with the Solutions Partner Program.
Facebook Group for the program . This private group (in English) includes more than 6,500 employees from businesses associated with HubSpot. It serves as a place to stay up to date with news about the products and the program itself, but also to interact with partners and discuss tips, recommendations, strategies, etc.
HubSpot Community . Like the Facebook group, this space is exclusive to partners and is run in English. It's the perfect place to ask questions, have discussions with other partners, or share content that may be of interest. One of the most common topics is hiring, but any topic is welcome in the Community if it's related to the sector. You can also suggest ideas for improving the Solutions Partner Program or access information on new developments.
Events . These events serve to unite the community and help its members boost their businesses, as well as their knowledge of the HubSpot platform. Depending on the level to which each partner belongs , they will be able to access some events or others.
Update your primary point of contact and approved email domain
The primary point of contact refers to the professional chosen by each partner to receive the most important communications from HubSpot. This means messages about product launches, event invitations, or alerts about new updates or changes to the program.
To update or check that it's correct, go to your HubSpot portal and click on your account name located at the top right. Then select “Account & Billing” and then “Company Information.” You can now choose a user in the “Primary Account Contact” box or check if the one listed is the correct one.
On the other hand, the approved email domain is the text that appears after the “@” symbol in the email address of each partner ’s team users . It serves to differentiate the main members of a company from external users so that HubSpot will be able to send them communications and assign them credits.
All users in a partner account who have the approved domain in their email addresses will be on the HubSpot distribution list. This will exclude emails from other domains, which are often owned by contractors or third parties. For any questions regarding this, please contact your CAM or CC .
Access the Partner Resource Center
The Resource Center is a HubSpot platform that functions as a library of English-language materials available to partners . You can access this page from your portal by clicking on the “Partner” option in the top menu. There “you will find some quick links to product documentation, tier and benefit guides, and sales rules in the program,” as stated in HubSpot’s course on the program. But there is much more content available, which is divided into four categories:
Training . Materials are included to enhance your experience with the program itself, such as resources about HubSpot products, information about HubSpot Academy, learning plans, and more.
Sales . All of this material is geared toward optimizing your sales processes for HubSpot services or products. Here you'll find the rules on this topic of the program, information on commissions, etc.
Services . This content is designed to help you incorporate clients into the HubSpot portal and boost the success of your service delivery.
Branding . In this case, the material is intended to boost your business with the benefits offered by the program. Content includes: promotional guidelines, leadership opportunities, etc.
