An agreement has been reached
Russia's largest operators have agreed to jointly develop 5G cellular uganda phone number library networks in the country. Under the agreement, the companies will have to merge and create a new single communications operator.

The State Commission on Radio Frequencies (GRChK) has decided to allocate separate radio frequency bands for the implementation of the so-called "pilot" zones of 5G networks. Frequencies were allocated in the ranges of 4800-4990 MHz and 27.1-27.5 GHz to an unlimited number of people.
According to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Communications Oleg Ivanov, the decision of the State Radiocommunication Commission to allocate frequencies to an unlimited number of people is very important. This is a kind of backup option in case the Big Four operators fail to reach a final agreement, and each ultimately decides to build its own 5G network.
Reaction of telecom operators
The members of the Big Four accepted the proposal to create a single mobile operator. Attracting funds from all four project participants will reduce the final volume of investment in infrastructure development. This, the press service emphasized, is very important in the realities of the Russian communications market, given the low cost of mobile operator services.
How much will 5G deployment cost?
The NIIR concept includes not only the idea of creating a single operator, but also a preliminary calculation of the cost of investments in 5G infrastructure on a national scale.
The document takes into account both possible scenarios: the establishment of a single 5G operator and the construction of their own next-generation networks by each of the Big Four representatives individually.
The second option provides for total capital and operating expenses of 163 billion rubles and 39 billion rubles, respectively, for each of the four operators. In the event of a merger of the operators' forces, their total costs will amount to 73 billion rubles and 17 billion rubles.
