What is PageRank?

For those who have never heard of PageRank , it is worth explaining that it is an algorithm used by Google to evaluate the relevance of each website on the Internet and to order the billions of pages it indexes.

The mathematical formula assigns each page a rating from 0 to 10, with 10 being the maximum score and 0 being the minimum. The numbers are rounded so that the rating always adds up to a whole number.
