A few weeks ago, my company celebrated its third birthday. Already. Every anniversary, the same old story: how time flies! In entrepreneurship, three years is a bit of a fateful moment for a company . Either it can't make it past that milestone, or it's viable. In my case, the three-year myth is pretty real. This year has been complicated. In a different way than the first or second year , but difficult. I went up very high only to come down just as low.
So, to start this fourth year of entrepreneurship, I wanted to look back with you on this year of ups and downs that has just passed. Here we go!
The best time of my business
The third year of my business started off with a bang. I was on hong kong whatsapp top of the world . I had just signed a big contract for six months, I had other clients on the side and we were launching our first Café Com with my sidekick Sonia. For the first time in my life as an entrepreneur, I managed to reach my turnover target for 5 consecutive months! I was really in a good period.
Thanks to my increased turnover, I can invest in my business ! I'm reaching a milestone. Finally. In less than three months, I invested almost €1,000 in my business . I bought a new theme to update my website. I did a professional photo shoot with the talented Anais Rousseau (and I say that objectively even though she's my girlfriend) . I delegated the writing of my home page and my individual support page to a copywriter whose writing I love.
Then, I bought Julia's Pinterest Secret Sauce training to learn how to use this incredible tool to increase traffic to my site. I'm so happy to be able to spend money to improve my business. I hadn't been able to do it before and I realize that it's stupid. If you want to grow your business, you have to go through this and invest.
I absolutely do not regret having injected this money into my business. I have a site that I like much more and that resembles me. I have pushed my knowledge on a subject that I did not master well. Today, investing in my business is part of my objectives . I want to earn enough turnover to be able to reinject it into my business.
