Examples of bad donors

Post by rkreza96 »

Bad donors and links refer to domains or URLs that can harm your organic traffic. These may include sites with low-quality content, spam resources, or sites involved in artificial link building.

Bad donors include sites that can harm your organic site instead of benefiting it. One metric is a low SDR. Next, it's worth looking at the domain's overall organic traffic. If it's low, something's wrong with the domain. Also, I'd like to mention an excessive number of external links on the site.

It's a good idea to personally review your website's homepage and key pages for readability, usability, layout, and usefulness to the intended audience. You can use our tools to identify such malicious donors and links .

Malicious websites
If necessary, we disavow malicious links email database using the tool in Google Search Console .

Also, when selecting a suitable donor:

1.Use different types of links. These can include redirects, images, dofollow (which transfers link equity), nofollow (which doesn't transfer link equity), text links, and other types that won't raise suspicions from search engines.
2.Avoid using UTM tags in links. These tags clearly indicate to search engines that the link is being placed commercially, so it's best to avoid this idea unless it's for advertising purposes.

3. Simultaneous indexing of the link and the page. If a link subsequently appears on an already indexed page, crawlers may react negatively to this, as it may indicate a contractual relationship. In isolated cases, this may not affect search engine rankings, but it's best to place the link immediately upon publishing the content.
4.Consider regionality. It's certainly recommended to promote a local resource on local websites. Similarly, you should select donors in the same language group as the website being promoted.
