Creating a business channel

A brand account is a special account that is convenient for promoting a brand. If your channel is linked to a brand account, you can add other users as an owner, manager, or administrator.
This is different from a personal Google account, which does not have this functionality.
If you see a screen like this where you can't add admins, your channel is private.
And you need to create a brand account for your business.
To do this, follow the link and create a new channel.
Next, enter the name of your channel.

This will be a completely new channel and will need to be configured.
If you had an old channel (but it is personal) with a bunch of videos and you want to transfer it to a brand account (the process cannot be reversed), then follow the link .
Then select the brand channel where you want your content from your personal channel to migrate, including viewing history, playlists, and settings.

Let me remind you once again what will be lost during the transfer:
If Channel A is your personal channel, this is what you will lose when moving.
If Channel B is a newly created channel - that's what you're moving to - that's what you'll lose.
Setting up a channel
This is configured in the studio, where we go to the main information and select “Settings” - “Channel” section.
Don't forget about the channel country. It should be selected by default, where your target audience will be.
We also add channel tags. I wrote about this in detail in the article "Promotion in YouTube videos".
Next, we specify in the advanced settings once and for all what type of channel we have. This will affect many things.
In the Advanced Features section, be sure to complete the following checks:
