Dedicated to the Royal Hunt
This year, the ABERLOUR HUNTING CLUB will be setting up shop with Gordon Ramsay at the Trianon Palace in Versailles, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, which has been privatized for the occasion. Located on the edge of the prestigious gardens of the Royal Estate of Versailles, the pop-up restaurant offers the perfect setting for enjoying gourmet cuisine that combines prestige and tradition, with a hunting theme.
VARIATIONS ON GAME GASTRONOMY
During these three unique evenings, ABERLOUR will invite lovers of fine dining and exceptional Single Malts to discover a menu specially created by renowned Michelin-starred Chef Simone Zanoni, a disciple of Scottish Chef Gordon Ramsay. During an exclusive tasting session, guests will discover the subtle combination of Scottish flavors of game and Single Malts: venison marinated with juniper berries, Scottish lobster marinated and cooked in a 15-year-old wine, crispy old-fashioned vegetables and smoked haddock cream, roasted grouse with roasted hazelnuts, artichoke and porcini mushroom fricassee, and more
THE ART OF TASTING
While the 2010 edition featured an exceptional tasting of the 1967 vintage, the distillery's oldest cask, this new edition will unveil a preview of the prestigious EXCLUSIVE ARCHIVE COLLECTION: four precious bottles of exceptional vintages from 1967, 1969, and 1980 – A'Bunadh, presented in a signature case.
